It's making use of some of my recent experiments with EEVEE atmospherics, including using realtime volumetrics and floating emissive particles. Make sure to take a look at the text editor window for a readme with a bit more information.
There's a sphere in the place of the original model. Assigned to this sphere is a copy of the base material used for the artwork which provides some extra procedural bump detail as well as a blending of feathered ambient occlusion.
