The Generator's Lab (BY-GEN Content Pack)

Note: The Generator's Lab is only compatible with BY-GEN 9.1 - 9.2.1. Due to significant changes, it is not currently supported by BY-GEN 10 and onwards. For Mac users: You will need to download at least version 9.1.1 of the BY-GEN addon as this contains a Mac-specific fix relating to directories. MacOS may create hidden files inside of the content pack and this was causing problems for some users. It has also been reported that Mac may hide the library folder for some users. See here for more information.

Introduction

The Generator's Lab is a content pack for the BY-GEN addon, providing you with a range of experimental parametric effects to play with in Blender.

Installation

The content pack is compatible with version 9.1 of BY-GEN and above (9.1.1 on Mac).
This package will contain a zip file containing the 'Generator's Lab' content pack folder.
You must extract that folder from the zip file and place it into the addon's content pack directory, like so:

After installing the content pack, it will be accessible from inside the BY-GEN interface, through the drop-down menus above the different effect browsers. Note: Not all content packs will include content for every type of effect. E.g. Some may only contain parametric or surface effects and will therefore only be selectable under those categories.
